A Labor Day Salute to America's Workers
OK, we admit it. We couldn't take the unrelenting disgrace of the Chump-in-Chief's response to Katrina anymore. One more self-serving remark, one more attempt to blame it on someone else, and we're sure we'd go ballistic.
So, here's a salute from Your Presidentarator on Labor Day, before we go around the bend. Happy Labor Day!
However, we can't resist this one last item - a direct quote from a story by AP's Jennifer Loven about Mary Landrieu's D-La. response to the White House's charm offensive to make us all feel warm and fuzzy about the deaths in the southland:
"Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., lashed out at federal officials who she said have denigrated local efforts to deal with the catastrophe.
'If one person criticizes them or says one more thing, including the president of the United States, he will hear from me,' she said on the ABC's This Week. 'One more word about it after this show airs and I might likely have to punch him. Literally."
All we can add is, "YOU GO GIRL!"
